Fresh (Refrigerated), Organic Veggie Meals for Babies & Toddlers
lil’gourmets is the first and only fresh organic veggie meal for babies & toddlers. Our global recipes feature almost all vegetables and beans, combined with healthy fats like coconut milk and olive oil, and unique chef-crafted spice blends for delicious meals that are sold refrigerated and closest to homemade. Inspired by our experiences as first time moms and based on the latest research on children’s nutrition, lil’gourmets strives to develop a love of vegetables and diverse, culturally-rich foods for life. Each of our cups delivers 1+ serving of veggies and/or beans with no added salt or sugar and only 2-5g of natural sugars (less than half of the average baby food). We were awarded the Purity Award by the Clean Label Project and are the only baby food brand to have all of its products surpass the Partnership for A Healthier America’s Veggies Early & Often standard for their meaningful delivery of vegetables.
Always Fresh, Always Organic
We want to feed our babies (and yours!) high-quality, nutritious and delicious food. To us, that means preparing meals that we would love to cook regularly for our kids, but are too time-strapped to do. We use only pure organic ingredients and never add preservatives or ingredients that aren’t readily available at your local grocery store.
Our non-thermal, cold pressure process ensures our food is safe for our babies, without impacting the flavor or nutrients inherent in our food. We don’t over-process our food so that it can sit on shelves for months to years.
The result? Fresh, refrigerated, vegetable-focused meals that are “younger” than your baby, and with ingredient lists that you can read.
Our Veggie-First Promise
Our recipes make vegetables the star – each of our meals is 70-95% veggies and beans, with a uniquely delicious combination of spices to create spoonfuls of veggie goodness your child will love, while delivering 1+ serving of veggies per 3.5oz cup.
We limit the use of fruit in our products, so each veggie meal is naturally low in sugar (only 2-5g of natural sugar), with no added salt or sugar. We believe that making vegetables taste delicious with chef-crafted recipes vs. masking them with fruit helps teach children to love vegetables (not sweetness) from an early age.

Our products not only provide essential nutrients today, they are also based on the latest medical research. With our fresh, organic veggie meals we strive to not only help kids develop a love of vegetables., but also nurture our kids’ natural curiosity of the world through our authentic global flavors. We imagine a world where kids become curious about Morocco, because they love their Moroccan Butternut Squash…and one where they request the complex flavor of a vegetable curry more often than mac & cheese!
We package our products in cups to encourage spoon-feeding, which provides a host of benefits including bonding with parent/caretaker, development of fine motor skills, appreciation of flavor and food, and recognition of satiety cues (which helps prevent over-eating!).
Why I Launched lil’gourmets
I was a working mom when I began introducing solids to my son, Jayden. I always assumed that I would feed him one of the prepared food options, given the demands of a career and being a new parent. When the time came, I opened my first jar of shelf-stable food, and it just didn’t look, smell, or taste like a vegetable should.
So I began something I never thought I would: cooking all his meals. I felt great about what he was eating, but it added a lot of stress to an already stressful time. As my son got older, I saw the impact that the early introduction of delicious vegetables had on his palate … as a toddler, he ate a lot of veggies and really flavorful food.
I decided to launch the food I made for him knowing there must be other parents like me, looking for truly nutritious, truly delicious, vegetable focused-meals that taste like they were made fresh that day.
My daughter, Mira, now eats lil’gourmets almost every day and I am so happy that she gets essential nutrients and fresh, homemade taste even when I don’t have time to cook. I hope you and your lil’ones love our veggie meals as much as we do!
