“Be Someone” was silly and the person who claimed responsibility for it was doubly silly.

No offense meant here, which means it may appear offensive, but who cares about this? It was neat for a minute, but it’s insignificant. Everything that has been painted on that bridge has been lazy both artistically and philosophically.

Of course, this is just my opinion and I don’t mean to imply others do or should feel this way.

I’ve lived in Houston my entire 30+ years of life; am I the only one who never knew this thing existed till like 4-5 years ago?

The only thing that keeps this hell hole city interesting is the ever-changing artwork and the amusing people that both mock and admire it.

I think this should be up until Ukraine is no longer under attack. Some people here act like it’s over. It isn’t.

It always upset me when the “BE SOMEONE” got tagged over, it’s such a positive message. I saw this last week and somehow I don’t have a problem with it. NO WAR KNOW PEACE is just as positive a message as “BE SOMEONE”.

TBH I really miss seeing the original “Be Someone” because I felt that it somewhat epitomized the city. I always saw it as a way of it saying “Welcome to Houston. Make something of yourself” because I feel like that’s what this city has always been about.
