That would be good enough for me if I was the asker
I don’t even know what that means and i’ve lived here my entire life so far.
That reply would have made my day
I have no clue what that means
American English is so full of idioms that it’s a wonder anyone understands us at all.
I learned from Mike what it means, and what happens when you are missing a sticker
As English is my second language, when someone told me that “This is a bad neighborhood”, I thought it had something to do with shoddy construction. I also wondered why so much of my junk mail had IMPORTANT written on the envelope?
I’m 40 years old, born and raised in America, and I still have no idea what it means to validate parking. It’s not something we do where I’m from.
Hahahaha
That’s amazing
I have lived in america for almost 50 years. And I still don’t really know what that means. At this point I just refuse to look it up.
I bet they parked like an asshole personally
“Validate parking” is a thing of Downtowns where parking is a worry and you have to pay for it. Rest of the people who lives elsewhere have same exact confusion when they hear it.
Take a look at their parking job before you do that. Lots of people park terribly.
In my 1st year in the US I went to a job interview. The boss asked me if I like to hustle. I didn’t know what that word meant. I thought he asked me if I like to wrestle. I said no, I don’t like wrestling, but I like to watch WWE when I was a kid. He laughed at me and told me he will let me know about the job. Didn’t up end getting it (not surprised) lol
This is the best answer anyway
As a 30 year old American I honestly have no idea what that means anyway
I am American and I have no idea what validating parking is lol. I know what valet parking is.
I’m guessing it’s a regional thing. After 40 years I’ve never validated parking before.
Honestly that is so nice
Y’all when I say validate my parking this is what I mean
I’m American would’ve done the exact same thing lol
👏All👏parking👏is👏valid!👋
As an autistic I wouldve definitely reponded along these lines
And… Thank you for everything and everyone you meet. I am sick of saying and hearing thanks yous. Even every email ends with thank you.
Am american…idk what that means…
Chad woman 😎
Wait, can someone chime in with what that phrase actually means
Ugh no they didn’t
I’m American and I’ve never heard it outside the tv
This is kinda wholesome though
What does validate parking mean
Native 30yo still don’t know what it means to validate parking
Wouldn’t that be “complimenting their parking”?
It’s my 20th year in America and I don’t get this :I
As an American I’ve never heard this phrase
What job were you doing where you were required to validate parking but… didn’t know what validating parking is? But somehow know what the other definition of validating is? Why do these bs stories get so many upvotes
Honestly, I’ve lived here my whole life and I’m still not 100% sure what it means. It’s something I only ever see in TV shows. I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere that required validated parking in real life.
