It generally seemed unusual to me you could not see the tips of the state you happen to be forming, so I designed a swift idea of how it could seem like

that looks pretty good! have you tried posting in paradox forums about it?
R5: Whenever you form a country, you get to choose which ideas you want, but the game doesn’t tell you what the ideas you get are. I made a quick design of how it could look like.
Great implementation, I hope Paradox will include his in their next update. Post it on the forums and they’ll take a look.
Add the Rule 5 comment bro, cause this is genius
Might be tough to code in tho
Very nice – as others have said please do post this on the suggestion forums.
To put it another way: “Yes, Please!”
They won’t implement it this way because events are incredibly inflexible – but something else similar could be done.
This is a great idea!
That seems awsome, hope they implement ot some day
I NEED IT
GREAT idea and implementation
Yes, Please!
That looks phenomenal. I’ve always been frustrated when forming new nations that I’m unfamiliar with because I end up needing to google the ideas and alt+tab between the interwebs and eu4 to figure out which idea set I like more. I never actually stop to think of a solution though, so kudos for being the hero we didn’t know we needed.
great. as ux designer I can recommend you to change first CTA labels into “yes take roman ideas instead of french ones”
That’s a fantastic idea, it’s clean looking too, and to the point. Beats having to pull up a screen of the new nation ideas to remind me. For some reason I can see Paradox hiding that behind a DLC you gotta pay for that feature. lol
Nice.
Would it become to crowded if it included if the government type also changed?
Ridiculous you have to load up a wiki page or YouTube video to see such basic info
How did you do this?
awesome
Absolutely. This would be great. I always find myself tabbing out and checking out the ideas on the wiki to compare and contrast.
Great idea.
Great Idea
I assume hovering over each would show the values, descriptions and names of the ideas? Sounds good, you should post it on the forums
Yes, Please!
Good idea for a dlc hehe.
Nice one, suggest it on the official forum.
If i had to find an upside to the current state of the pop-up, i’d say it forces you to go on the wiki, which is a good habit to take, for events and everything.
I’ve rarely closed EU4 without seeing a 10+ tabs web browser filled with wiki pages back on the desktop.
