Synopsis: During Akbar’s rule over Hindustan, the Mughal’s considered Pathans their enemies and vice versa. As a result there was a war-like relation between Mandva’s Sultan Sujat Khan and Akbar. But Sujat’s son, Wajid, was a peace-maker and a lover of the arts. He befriended a Hindu Kshtriya, Rajkumari Rupmati, of Mandhavghar, and despite protests from her parents, brothers, and to-be husband, Baldev Singh, she re-located to Mandva, where Wajid build her a tower so that she could view and seek blessings from holy river Narmada, who had gifted her to Mandhavghar. She became instrumental in diverting Narmada to bring water to her drought-stricken hometown. After Sujat passes away, Wajid becomes the Sultan and is called Bagh Bahadur. Akbar hears about this and sends Sangeet Samrat Tansen to check out Rupmati as well as find out if they wanted peace or war. Tansen was welcomed, and assured that Wajid wanted nothing but peace. But their peaceful lives will soon be turned upside when Tansen gets abducted by Subedar Hafiz Khan, is held against his will. An enraged Akbar asks his Chieftain Adam Khan to storm Malwa and free Tansen. In the meantime, Hafiz’ daughter, who is in love with Wajid, gets into Rupmati’s palace – with one intent – to kill her.

Synopsis: Thakur Jaswant Singh had despaired of having a child when fate suddenly blessed him with not one but two sons. On account of a tragic fire in the hospital, Jaswant Singh s son gets mixed up with another child. Jaswant Singh and his wife cannot recognize their own offspring and to be on the safe side both the baby boys are taken home.
Jaswant Singh is disturbed by this twist of fortunes but his best friend Harnam Singh consoles him. Jaswant s wife meanwhile behaves like a pillar of strength and courage. She brings up both the boys with care and as the years roll by Raja and Ramesh grow up to be smart, well educated young men.
When Harnam Singh returns after a long stay abroad he is faced with a major question who is the real son of Jaswant Singh, Raja or Ramesh? However at Harnam’s Welcome-home party, an untoward incident leaves Jaswant offended. When this dawns on Raja, he decides to leave home, and lands up in police custody. Jaswant looks upon this as a blessing in disguise and promptly disowns Raja. Irony of ironies, Raja and Harnam Singh s daughter Asha fall in love with each other quite literally by accident. They are determined to get married. Simultaneously Harnam and Jaswant are busy making preparations for Asha s marriage to Ramesh. When Asha comes to know of this, she is outraged and confides everything to Raja’s mother. When Harnam comes to know of Asha s stance he collapses and is hospitalized. What happens next? Years pass by. Sher Singh’s son Vijay grows up and fall in love with Aarti. Aarti is daughter of Mr Chaudhary, alias of decoit Daulat Singh. Son of Doctor Raghuveer Singh becomes police inspector. Suraj has only one mission. Find Sher Singh and kill him to take revenge of his father’s murder by Sher Singh. This gives more twists and turns in the story which leads to a dead end with many people to repent.
