Dave only asked about 1200 dollars but they refused and after 9 months of back and forth He took matter into his own Hands. In the end they did pay him back.

Great song and great production value. Could have just went with something bland but went the extra mile. It’s the little things in life ya know?

I remember when this first came out. I never heard what the impact was though. That’s pretty impressive.

I’ve mixed Dave and his brother in their band, Sons of Maxwell, at several shows in the past. Dave is just an awesome human and a really talented musician. Was very happy to see his music gain some traction even it took a shitty situation like this for him to gain some recognition.

I like the song, I like the message – I just don’t understand the fake mustaches and sombreros?

His song was posted on June 20, 2012. The stock price of UAL was crab walking all month, and 10% is just normal volatility

Met him and had a drink with him at a tiny corporate event, where he was a guest speaker/musical entertaintment.

Having attended a ton of these types of events, he didn’t act like most of the special guests. He wasn’t a diva, and was super approachable/down to earth. Glad to see a good guy win.

Also: he still flies United.

This is so good. Glad he got his money in the end. This really blew up for him with millions of views.

The production cost and the subsequent time to produce this probably cost more than the 1,200 dollars he was asking for. Still a great song.
